Daniel Gorman
Founder & WatchmakerDaniel trained as a traditional watchmaker for eight years before deciding the industry he loved was solving the wrong problem. Hands and dials, he realized, were built for an era when checking the time was rare — not the twenty times an hour we do it now. He set out to build a watch you'd glance at once and understand completely, and spent three years getting that glance down to under a second.

We didn't start as a watch brand — we started as the hands behind other people's watches. That patience is why we're still here.

Where it began
Daniel Gorman started out making dials and cases, supplying components to bigger watch brands as an OEM manufacturer.

Our first watch
We built and sold our first complete watch under our own name — a simple, sturdy piece that put everything we'd learned as suppliers into one product.

The analog line
We launched our first full analog watch collection, built on years of dial and case-making experience.

Away from the dial
After decades of hands and dials, Daniel Gorman built the first working core on his kitchen table — the design that would define every piece after it.

We removed the two moving parts every watch is built around. What's left is a single rotating core that tells you everything you need, at a glance.

Hand-assembled
Every core is set by hand under a loupe, one at a time. No production line — just a small team that checks its own work.

Built to outlast trends
Solid brass core, sapphire-coated crystal, and a silicone band that won't crack in five years. Made to be worn, not upgraded.
